One brewer, endless opportunities

Nowadays, when you can choose a device for almost every occasion, and even more keep showing up, a lot of enthusiasts are trying to get all of them. I like the concept of using only one — simple yet versatile. Years ago, the device you were using came as a combination with a filter; it was just normal to buy the same filters, brew after brew. Those days are over. There are more companies producing filters now, and even companies mostly known for their filters.
My observations came from a Brewers Cup routine. Having a great brewer from Origami and proper water was enough to get a nice cup, but not enough when it came to details. That round ended up with switching cone filters for a Kalita Wave paper filter, escalating brightness, highlighting acidity with a light mouthfeel without losing sweetness. Changing filters is easy, joyful, and fun.
The range I have follows the idea of flow from slow to fast:
If you are thinking of getting filters from Origami, they would be slightly faster than Hario, giving a lighter cup.
The reasonable question is why you need to change filters if you could play with grind size — fair one. But did you ever try a fine grind size with fast flow? I did, and can’t stop encouraging others.
